What is the Richmond Learning Platform?

The Richmond Learning Platform is an important part of many Richmond courses, such as The Big Picture and English iD. The Richmond Learning Platform is made up of different components, including the course-specific website, Test Studio and a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

It offers registered students and teachers access to exclusive extra content, including downloadable materials, such as audio and worksheets in the websites, interactive activities in the VLE and tests in both paper and digital formats. This content will help you get the most out of whichever Richmond course you are using.

You can find a list of Richmond products with access to the Richmond Learning Platform here.

Teachers

Institutions (schools, universities, etc.) can register for access to the Richmond Learning Platform and create teacher and student users.

Once registered as a Teacher, you have access to the Teacher’s Area and Student’s Area of the course website.

In the Teacher’s Area you can find downloadable resources such as wordlists, teaching notes, audio files, etc.

From the Teacher’s Area, you can also ‘Launch VLE’ and ‘Launch Test Studio’.

Students

If your course has access to the Richmond Learning Platform and you have an access code, go to your course website and register.

Once registered as a Student, you have access to the Student’s Area of the course website where you can find student resources associated with you course, such as audio or video.

From the Student’s Area, you can also ‘Launch VLE’

In the VLE you will find the interactive content associated with your course.
